Picture Framing in Sale

Bespoke Picture Framing for Sale customers

Sale customers bring us everything from Worthington Park watercolours to large family portraits and limited-edition prints. We pick up and drop off in our own van across M33, so nothing fragile ever sees a courier.

Sale has one of the densest concentrations of family homes in M33, so we see a lot of large family portraits, children's artwork bundles and statement canvases for over-the-sofa walls. Brooklands and Ashton-on-Mersey period properties bring in heirloom framing work, often inherited Victorian prints needing conservation reframing.

Every frame is hand-cut and assembled in our Timperley workshop. We carry hundreds of moulding profiles — classic timber, gilded, painted and contemporary aluminium — paired with conservation-grade mounts and your choice of standard, anti-reflective, UV-filter or museum glass.

What we do for Sale

The framing Sale actually orders

Common M33 framing jobs include large family photography for Brooklands and Ashton-on-Mersey homes, children's school portraits as gift bundles, and reframing of inherited Victorian prints from Sale Moor's older terraces. We see plenty of sports memorabilia from the local cricket and football clubs too.

What it costs

What a Sale frame costs comes down to size, the moulding you choose, a single or double mount, and the glazing — a multi-aperture school-portrait mount is a very different job from a large Brooklands family portrait. The picture framing calculator gives an instant price for your exact size.

We do this every term — multi-aperture mounts that hold a series of school years in one frame are one of our most popular Sale orders.

Yes. Older frames often used acidic board that yellows artwork; we reframe with conservation board and the original moulding where possible, or a sympathetic match.
