A well-cut mount transforms a piece — adding space, focus and a clean professional finish. At Love to Frame, every mount is cut by hand in our Timperley workshop, sized to the millimetre and tailored to the artwork it surrounds.

From single openings to multi-aperture displays, we cut conservation-grade boards in a wide range of colours, textures and depths — built to protect and present your work for the long term.

No order is too small or too large — from a single mount for a treasured print to hundreds of identical boards for a gallery edition, exhibition or commercial fit-out. Planning a larger run? Get in touch with the team and we'll scope the job, agree timings and confirm volume pricing before a single board is cut.

Mounts & Frames Manchester · FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do you cut mounts for customers walking in?

+

Yes — our Timperley workshop in South Manchester is open to the public Monday to Saturday. Bring your artwork or photo and we'll measure, advise on board and colour, and cut your mount on the Gunnar AIOX while you wait whenever possible.

What sizes of mount can you cut?

+

Anything from a single small aperture for a 6×4 print up to oversized exhibition boards. Multi-aperture layouts, double and triple mounts, V-grooves and decorative cut-outs are all standard work for us.

Do you ship mounts across the UK?

+

Yes. Mounts are packed flat with rigid board protection and sent on a tracked courier service to anywhere in mainland UK. Trade and bulk orders are quoted individually so we can match pricing to volume.

What's the difference between standard and conservation mount board?

+

Standard mount card is ideal for everyday framing and home décor. Conservation (acid-free) board is buffered to neutralise acidity over time — essential for original artwork, signed prints, certificates and anything with long-term value. We stock both and will advise on the right choice for your piece.
